Georgia Walby, Change Coach (NLP Hypnotherapy)

Hello and Thanks for Visiting!

Let me introduce myself:

I’ve been working professionally in this field (full time) since 2009.
Before then I was a specialist Youth Worker for many years, working in local governments and the third sector.

From 2011 – 2012 I was a Co-Chair of Cardiff NLP Group, a group which I still help to run.

What You Need To Know About Me

I’m open and honest and highly committed to getting good results.

People tell me I’m a great listener!
I’m down to earth, practical and informal in my approach.
I have a natural ability is to nurture self belief and confidence in the people I work with.

How I Work

If you come to see me I will teach you about how your mind works, how you process information and turn it into thoughts and feelings, so that together we can look at what is going on that is causing you a problem. We will spend time looking at your individual circumstances and experiences so that you can establish the most effective ways for you to move forward in your life and get the outcomes you want.

My working approach is simple and straightforward. I use my knowledge and experience to help my clients find that personal change to thoughts and feelings, the pivotal inner change that will allow behavioural change to happen. There is nothing mystical about what I do, and if you come to see me you will need to take an active role in the work we do together.

Please be aware that you will be fully conscious and awake for most of each session. This is because I will need to do meticulous information gathering (ask you questions) and a large part of the change work is actually within the information gathering process.

Hypnosis works when we are ready to make change happen – the preparation is a big part of the process. Hypnosis itself rarely takes up more than half an hour per session.

I’ve developed this way of working based on the results it enables.

“I had a full day NLP session with Georgia. I am not usually good at speaking about myself or thinking about myself and during the course of the day I realised just how I was neglecting my own body and mind. I broke into tears once, and thought I was going to be doing that all day. This was in the beginning of the session. From there on I discovered a very strong inner me, I became empowered with my own self and suddenly realised that I had the ability with all I was learning about myself to be kinder to me!

I am so very grateful because not only did I get this confidence and a weight lifted off my over-burdened shoulders but I understood a lot more about myself. I would recommend this therapy to anyone who is struggling with their lives. It really works.”
